Following last week’s leak, Jaguar has released the first official details on its newest F-Type variant, the SVR, and confirmed the car’s debut at the upcoming 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

The F-Type SVR will eventually be launched on the market this summer, in both coupe and convertible bodystyles. They will be the first Jaguar models to wear the “SVR” badge, which represents the most potent offerings from Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations. Previous SVO creations include the brilliant Range Rover Sport SVR as well as the limited-edition F-Type Project 7. So what upgrades does the F-Type SVR offer over the already-impressive F-Type R? Jaguar says the car is lighter, faster and more powerful.
