Land Rover recalling 66k Range Rovers and LR4s, in two actions

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is announcing two, new safety campaigns affecting a total of 65,844 SUVs from Land Rover.
The larger recall covers 65,352 examples of the 2013-2016 Range Rover and 2014-2016 Range Rover Sport. On these SUVs, the doors can suddenly unlatch when closed, and this can occur while the vehicle is in motion. The problem is not mechanical in nature. Land Rover dealers simply need to update the keyless entry software to fix the issue. The campaign is expected to begin on August 7. more...
